About me

Who am I?

I am Mexican psychologist born in the city of Guadalajara. From an early age I thought that my profession was gastronomy until life and its signs would take me to know new horizons like psychology. At the start of the career, I always focus on vulnerable populations that have little or no access to mental health services.

MY PROFESSIONAL CAREER

11 years ago I began my career in the humanitarian field that brought me closer to vulnerable populations such as migrants, refugees, relatives of the disappeared, and victims of political violence. I have worked for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), HIAS, and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). My work has given me the opportunity to step on and understand other realities in countries such as Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Brazil, Bolivia, Guyana, Nauru, Argentina, and Hong Kong.

Currently, I coordinate and advise multidisciplinary teams of different NGOs in Guyana and Hong Kong, helping to strengthen work with vulnerable populations. And besides, I have my private practice.
